Meet Mrs. Lyon

     My name is Karen Lyon, and this is my sixteenth year as a classroom teacher.  My husband, Mark, and I celebrated our fifteen year anniversary in July.  We have one son, Sam, who turned ten in August. Our beagle, Eli, completes the family.  Your child is sure to hear many stories about my family this year!
     I love being a kindergarten teacher.  Kindergartners are full of energy, and they love to learn new things.  It is with great joy that I get to teach kids to read.  Being a book lover myself, I love sharing the gift of reading with others.
     In my free time I enjoy reading, playing games, and spending time with my family.  I love traveling to sunny locations and spending time by the pool.
